Minutes of the planning meeting of Bursledon Parish Council
held on Wednesday, 10 February 2010 at the Village Hall,
Long Lane, Bursledon at 7.00 p.m.

2.  Declarations of interest
 
There were no declarations of interest.
 
3.  MINUTES OF THE MEETING 13 JANUARY 2010
 
Cllr Clarke proposed, Cllr Moneypenny seconded and Members voted unanimously to agree and sign the Minutes.  Minutes amended as Cllr Moneypenny’s apologises were given but Cllr Moneypenny did actually attend the meeting.  Cllr Millar amended and signed amendment.
 
4.  MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES OF MEETING 13 JANUARY 2010
 
There were no matters arising. 
 
5.  Planning applications received from Eastleigh Borough Council
 
5.1  Lowford Studio, The Old Bakery, Portsmouth Road, Bursledon – Change of use from bakery to photographic studio.  Case Officer:  Narinder Phagura.  Case Ref:  F/10/66419.
 
Cllr Moneypenny proposed DO NOT OBJECT, Cllr Allen seconded and Members voted unanimously. 
 
5.2  Thorn Knoll, Salterns Lane, Bursledon – Notification of intent to fell 1no. Canadian Red Oak & 1no. Grey Poplar.  Case Officer:  Tessa Judd.  Case Ref:  N/10/66544. 
 
Cllr Moneypenny proposed DO NOT OBJECT to cut Trees down.  Cllr Woodhouse seconded and Members voted unanimously.
 
5.3 Nevada, School Road, Bursledon – Construction of 2 storey side extension, following demolition of existing garage.  Case Officer:  Nicola Reid.  Case ref:  F/10/66563.
 
Cllr Moneypenny proposed DO NOT OBJECT, Cllr Allen seconded and Members voted unanimously.
 
5.4  The Coach House, Brownhills, Salterns Lane, Bursledon – Construction of detached triple garage.  Case Officer:  Nicola Reid.  Case Ref:  C/09/66362.
 
Cllr Clarke proposed DO NOT OBJECT, Cllr Moneypenny seconded.  7 Members voted in favour with 2 LAC Members Cllr Millar and Cllr Holes abstaining.  Conditions – subject original planning application C/08/63296, December 2008 being superseded.
 
6.  Planning decisions notified by Eastleigh Borough Council 
 
6.1  Longwood, Kew Lane, Bursledon – Construction of detached double garage with first floor storage area & external stairs, following demolition of existing garage.  Case Officer:  Narinder Phagura.  Case Ref:  C/09/66187.  PERMIT
 
6.2  Camelia Cottage, Dodwell Lane, Bursledon – Two storey front extension, 2no. Front dormer windows, rear first floor balcony, rear patio with retaining structures & detached garage, following demolition of existing front and side extensions.  Case Officer:  Nicola Reid.  Case Ref:  F/09/66319.  PERMIT
 
6.3  Maryland, Long Lane, Bursledon – Construction of swimming pool & detached pool house & engineering works to alter ground levels.  Case Officer:  Nicola Reid.  Case Ref:  C/09/66253.  PERMIT
 
The planning decision was noted.
 
Cllr Milne proposed, seconded Cllr Clarke.
 
7.  Correspondence
 
7.1  Community Centre Car Park Lease.  Cllr Milne declared an interest.  Members agreed date to be approved from the date of next full council meeting - 24th February 2010.
 
8.  Exempt business
 
8.1  Planning Enforcement.  The items were noted.
